Common to the entire line is a new sleek design with rounded corners, wider door openings that allow easier access into the locking cabinet, and a new lock location on the front of the cart designed to prevent frequent key breakage.
The Shuttle Series metal housekeeping carts all feature a 10-year warranty unique to the industry. All carts include 5” swivel quiet casters for superior maneuverability and adjustable shelves for increased flexibility.
The new line includes the Odyssey and the Genesis (#3810), which are both stainless steel, as well as the Galaxy, the Omega, and the Comet, which are powder coated (along with #3820, the powder-coated version of the Genesis).

The Custom Housekeeping Cart program allows customers to uniquely tailor the design and feature content of a housekeeping cart according to facility cleaning protocol. With this program, Geerpres® is partnering with customers to provide the most effective hardware solutions to maximize labor efficiency. Custom content is considered anything not offered on existing carts as an option or standard component part. Customization also provides customers the opportunity to specify color and to add their own facility logos or messaging.

The Cling-On™ is a one-piece mop frame constructed out of sturdy plastic. The frameis 16″, ideal for 16″ or 18″ mops. The unique patterned cut out frame prevents solution from “puddling” on the frame and allows easy flow-through to the mop.
“The big news about the Cling-On™ is that it takes replacement costs out of the equation,” said Sam Waites, VP Sales and Marketing. “There is no Velcro®, which means you don’t have to worry about replacing clogged Velcro® strips that have lost their adherence ability or replacing the entire frame after a short period of time. This will represent a big cost and time savings for our customers.”

The CAT G7 is a completely self-contained back pack applicator that is primarily used for applying floor finish. It has been well documented that back pack applicators save time and money over traditional application methods as they help control the amount of fluid used.
The new backpack was designed with user safety and comfort in mind. Breathable mesh inserts have been added to keep the user cooler when using the CAT G7. The addition of padded, adjustable shoulder straps makes the backpack more comfortable to wear, and adjustable chest and waist straps will ensure the backpack stays in place.

The products that received the most attention were the new Cling-On Microfiber Mop Frame and the Space Station™ Acrylic Cart-Top Locking Console. The patent-pending one-piece Cling-On Mop Frame grabs and secures any microfiber mop. The Cling-On does not require Velcro® strips as the “teeth” are built into the head. Therefore, there is no reason to replace clogged Velcro® strips. The Space Station™ Locking Console attaches to the top of either the Alpha or the Galaxy Shuttle Series™ Housekeeping Carts and allows for easy secure storage of the most commonly used cleaning items and “visible organization” of products to assure that the cart is correctly stocked and organized.
